FAQ
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, we do not allow any riders under the age of 13 to ride their own bike.
For small toddlers we offer a seat attachment, for children up to 80lbs or two smaller children equaling 80lbs we offer pull behind bike trailers.
Is there an option to bring my dog?
Yes. We have one pull behind bike trailer that is used for dogs up to 80lbs.
Is there a height/ weight restriction?
Yes. Riders must be at least 5’ tall and no more than 325lbs.
What is included in the bike rental?
Each rental includes a helmet and bike lock, as well as straps to hold backpacks or water bottles in place. We do not have baskets to carry items. We also provide instructions to operate the bikes as well as directions to the bike path and answer any questions you may have.
Can we take the bikes “off road” or on dirt paths?
Unfortunately the bikes must remain on the paved bike path or share the road with vehicles. Dirt/ hiking trails are prohibited by the National Park Service. This is subject to a ticket as well as a $25 cleaning fee.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be done at least 24 hours in advance from the pick up time to receive a refund. Sudden weather changes such as rain or lightning that were not forecasted 24 hours in advance will be eligible for a refund or to move your reservation to another date. We check our weather forecast daily and recommend you do the same to be prepared for elements. We do not allow refunds for cold or windy conditions so dress appropriately for your ride.
Do we have trail maps?
We do not supply trail maps, however the visitor center in both Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon do. The bike path is one way in and one way out so a map is not necessary for bike riding.
How do we get the bikes?
You will use GPS to locate the Bryce Canyon Airport, once there you will leave your car parked and ride the bikes directly to the bike path. We are located about half way between both canyons which makes it ideal for choosing your destination.
Which time frame is most popular?
The two hour time frame is meant for a very short activity for people on a time crunch. The four hour time frame is the most popular, this gives you time to go into either Bryce Canyon or Red Canyon and leaves plenty of time to stop and take pictures and not feel rushed. The full day is for those that wish to spend the day in the park, stopping for lunch and having time to park the bikes and do some hiking. This is also a good way to see both canyons and spend the whole day enjoying nature.
What happens if bikes get returned damaged?
Part of signing the waiver is taking responsibility for any damages that take place during your ride. Please report to staff if any accidents or mishaps happen while on your ride. This will help us keep our bikes safe for future riders. If immediate help is needed during your ride (flat tire or similar) simply contact the staff member that helped you pick the bikes up and we will assist you.
Are there any extra fees?
There are no upfront “hidden” fees. However we do have fees for irregular situations. Those include but are not limited to late fees (if bikes are returned more than 15 minutes late you will be charged for the next time frame increment. Drop off and pick up at local campgrounds. We charge a $25 fee to drop off and pick up bikes from any campground in Bryce Canyon City or Red Canyon. This also requires premade arrangements with our staff. We charge a $25 cleaning fee if bikes are returned with more than a normal amount of dirt or mud on them that requires staff to clean the bike before the next rental can use it. Any damages that the bike has will be charged to your card. Open communication will be provided before hand on any of these charges.
